Tribute & Message From The Family

After a brave battle with cancer, Elsie G. Judge passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown, IA. All memorials may be dedicated to Multiple Myeloma foundation.

Condolence & Memory Journal

To all of her family: You can be very proud of her; she was a wonderful lady.

Elsie was one of my dearest friends. I worked with her at Adventist Care Centers. From the very first day I met her, which was the day I interviewed for the job of Finance Assistant, she became an instant friend. She took a lot of patience explaining things and showing me the ropes when I was hired. She always greeted you with a big smile when you walked through her door. I will never forget all she did for me and her concern for others. I will miss her emails and our phone conversations. I love you, Elsie, and will see your cheery smile when we meet again someday. I can just see you bouncing around Heaven. God has given you the job of making everyone laugh.

You had a Great Mom, she always did her best to take care of you guys and all of the kids you brought home :) She worked hard all her life and brought such joy and affected so many peoples lives in ways we will never know. When she enters the gates of heaven, be assured she will be greeted by so many caring souls, she will be smiling that big ol Elsie smile. I know when I am called home I'm sure she will be one of the most cherished souls that greet me. I Love you guys and my heart goes out to you at your time of loss. Just keep looking up, God will heal your heart in time. Toni

During Elsie's years working at Adventist Health Center, we knew Elsie. WE counted it a privilege to count her as a friend as well. At that time my husband, Dallas, was an administrator at one of the facilities for Adventist Care Centers. She was a special lady, who had a great sense of humor and loved life!

I consider Elsie one of my dearest friends. Her wit, wisdom and practicality have been a joy to all who knew her. She was the red-headed girl that made the difference.

She has reminded me more than once, as a mom raising children alone, that God is not our last resort but the first resort. She had a beautiful, experimental faith in God.

Elsie always got it.

Dear Family Members - make the most of life's opportunities for true happiness and advancement. It's what Ms. Elsie would want for each of you and she knew you could do it! She loved everyone of you so dearly!

Love and prayer,

Carol Pisarek

So sorry to hear of Elsie's passing. She was such a great person. When I started with the Adventist company in 1992, she helped me so much. I'll always remember her wonderful spirit and her love for her family.

Elsie: My other red-headed Iowa mom. When I came to ACC in 1994 there were just a few of us. Elsie always found a way to make sure I had lunch and gas money, have missed her over the years, but kept in touch on Yahoo.

Ms. Elsie was always so pleasant to talk to. I work at one of Adventist Care Centers facilities, Bradford Heights(formerly Pinecrest Manor). I did not interact with her a great deal since I am at one of the KY facilities, but when I needed help with something, she was always so nice. She will be missed. Blessings to her family.

Elsie always made my day at work. She and I both came in early but Elsie was always here first and it was so great to come into her wonderful smiling face. She was a great listener and friend and always there to give out hugs.

I loved her sense of humor. I'll always remember that day I came in on Valentine's Day and we asked her why she wasn't wearing red. She said "Oh Yes I am wearing red", then she proceeded to pull down her pants a bit to show us her red underwear. She could be hysterical at times.

She is truly missed.
