Patricia Mae Cassilly was born on March 14, 1934 in Davenport, a daughter of Merle and Margaret (Zirkel) Cassilly. She graduated from LeClaire High School where she was a cheerleader and sang in the chorus. While a teenager, Pat played the organ at the former St. Henry's Catholic Church, LeClaire.
Pat was united in marriage to Donald D. Wakeland on September 20, 1952 at St. Henry's. This past September they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Times in the Deerbrook Area for many years. She also worked as a demo associate at Eagle Food Center Stores, Target Superstore, and lastly at Sam's Club.
When Pat did have free time, she enjoyed knitting, scrapbooking, tending to her garden, and never missed an opportunity to be around family. She was also a devoted fan of Elvis.
Pat was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Hannah Caldwell Chapter.
Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial at a later date.
