Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Celia P. "Sally" Saldivar, 93, a resident of Bettendorf will 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1506 Brown Street, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. The family will greet friends at the church Monday from 10:00 until time of mass. Mrs. Saldivar died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House she was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing

Celia Phyllis Ulloa was born November 23, 1919 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Albert and Luz (Morales) Ulloa. She was united in marriage to Margarito S. Saldivar on July 10, 1939. He preceded her in death February 3, 1982.

Sally was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, spending time with her family was her greatest joy.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children and their spouses, Marcy (Jerry) Wickersham, Davenport, Victor L. Saldivar, Springfield, OH, Margarito "Skip" Saldivar, Bettendorf and Cyndi (Michael) Smith, Pleasant Valley; 23 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; her sister Estella Ulloa, Bettendorf, her brother, Peter Ulloa, Davenport and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes, Clarissa C. Cook or a favorite charity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, Joyce (Dobie) Ekstrand, a son, Christopher Saldivar, 2 granddaughters, Sherrie Smith and Cari Smith, a grandson, Mark Saldivar, a sister, Lucy Gomez and a brother, Joe Ulloa. May they rest in peace.
