Jennifer F. Houser, 37, a resident of Princeton, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Trinity Bettendorf.
Following Jennifer's wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there will be a private family service. The Halligan – McCabe – DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jennifer Faye Grosz was born January 21, 1975 in Davenport, a daughter of Marvin Albert Grosz and Kimberley Day Morden. She was united in marriage to Delaney John Houser on December 15, 2004 in Davenport.
Jen had a wonderful way with animals and was a talented trainer and breeder. She began working at Teskes Pet and Garden Center in Bettendorf, and then opened her own dog breeding and kennel business, Riverview Belgians. She raised many show dogs and received numerous awards for her Belgian Sheepdogs.
Memorials can be made the Jennifer Houser memorial fund.
Survivors include her husband, Delaney, Princeton; her mother, Kimberley Morden and her life partner, Harry Meredith, Colona; step-brothers, Mike and Joey Grosz, McCausland, Iowa; and an aunt, Dr. Andrea Morden - Moore and Dr. John Moore, Campaign, Illinois; and an uncle, Craig and Elyssa Morden, Denver, Colorado; her father-in-law, Bill Houser, East Moline, Illinois and loving cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, and her mother-in-law, Brenda Houser.
