Jeffrey M. Carlson, 53, a resident of Davenport, died unexpectedly Friday, February 10, 2012 at his home. A Memorial service will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street Davenport. Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Keeping with Jeff's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
Jeffrey Marvin Carlson was born on June 5, 1958 in DeWitt, IA, a son of Marvin Carlson and Janet (Westering) Chellos. He attended North Scott High School, Eldridge and University of Texas, Austin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Andi Yeamans, and three grandchildren, Maison, Kassidy and Maddox, all of Davenport; his mother and stepfather, Janet and Jerry Chellos, Davenport; stepmother, Betty Carlson, Davenport, two sisters, Tracy Williams, Davenport and Nancy Talley of Texas, his nieces and nephews, Chris, James, Becky, Jesse, Amanda, Heather, Marissa, Jacob, and Ben; as well as many great friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, his brother Greg and nephew Matthew.
