Over the years, I was so blessed to visit with Bob as I called upon one of Avon's finest Sales team! Jan is a long time, successful Representative serving the Davenport area for over 30 years! On any given day Bob would be there supporting the business...packing, loading, delivering. My Dad and Uncles were mentored by Bob in their early years, "coach" as they called him, down at St Mary's. Bob truly lived up to that name. In recent years, it dawned on me that he fulfilled "Support" piece in so many facets of his life. One time I watched him fine tune the Christmas trees, trains and other elaborate holiday items....WOW, did I leave the house feeling a whole lot of Christmas spirit. He was even supporting me in my ever quest to find balance. You will be missed Bob.

I met Bob several years ago when he became my son's bus driver. He drove Tristin to and from school everyday and he was always very good to and with Tristin. Even though Tristin is Deaf and ADHD, Bob found a way to communicate with Tristin and they formed a very unique friendship. Tristin looked forward to seeing Bob every day and Bob seemed to be just as excited to see Tristin. Tristin wanted me to let Bob's family know

Tristin looked forward to seeing Bob every day and Bob seemed to be just as excited to see Tristin. Tristin wanted me to let Bob's family know that he is very sad that Bob has passed and that he will miss Bob very much. Tristin said to let the family know that Bob was his friend. When Bob became ill Tristin was very worried and upset so with help from River Bend I was able to get a message to Bob that Tristin wanted to speak to him. Bob called and Tristin was able to talk to Bob once before he passed and I just wanted to let you know how much that meant to my son. Tristin held out hope that Bob would come back to drive his bus, he asked the other Bus drivers daily when Bob was coming back. We jsut found out yesterday that Bob had passed and Tristin was devastated and all he could say was that Bob was his friend and he was going to miss him. I guess, I just wanted the family to know how much Bob meant to my boy and let them know how thankful I was to have had someone I knew I could trust to care for my boy and keep him safe like Bob did. We will miss him and we offer our condolences to his family. May he Rest in Peace and know how much he touched so many people.

I just wanted Bob's family to know how nice of a man he always was when he would come into the bank. He always told me how he enjoyed his golf games and when his son took him to the Iowa games! I know he really loved those two things. I waited on Bob for at least 30 years and he was always nice and friendly when he would come to the bank. I could tell his family meant alot

We would joke around alot and had alot of fun conversations. He will be missed. There are few customers who leave such a lasting positive impression such as Bob did. Sorry for your loss but hold close the truth of the bible that you can see him again in Heaven!

My deepest condolences to Bob's family. My dad Tom Wangler worked with Bob for many years. Bob was always the nicest guy to me when I would get to go to work with my dad on a Saturday morning at Wagners. The picnics were always fun and Bob's sense of humor was always spot on. I am sure he will be missed dearly.

I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED GOLFING WITH BOB IN WISCONSIN. ESPECIALLY ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO WHEN BOB SR. AND JR. AND I WENT TO THE LONGBRANCH SALOON FOR BURGERS AFTERWARD. GREAT TIMES HE WILL BE MISSED, GOD BLESS, LOVE THE ELLIOTTS

Jan, Bob and Tim,

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. As my dad said, when I think of Bob, I smile. As a kid, I really looked forward to seeing all of you each year at Scharenberg's. I have such fond memories of your husband and dad.
